Questions you ask
We store the text of questions and any feedback you give on an answer so we can improve the results. We don't ask for your name to use the site.
Location
Location is always optional. If you choose "Use my location", your browser shares your coordinates with the page so we can show distances. We use them to sort results and do not keep a location history.
Voice
Voice input is handled by the speech features built into your own browser, and only while you're holding the microphone open. We store the resulting text as a question, like any typed question. We don't keep audio.
Submissions
If you submit an event, correction or business claim, we keep what you send along with any contact details you give us, so an editor can review it and follow up.
